Me at Police Pier, Lembeh Strait

GoPro footage of me videographing Banggai Cardinalfish (Pterapogon kauderni) mouth brooding at Police Pier dive point in Lembeh Strait, Indonesia. I put some of the actual footage (from Canon 7D) in the end of this video clip.

인도네시아, 렘베, Police Pier 다이빙 포인트에서 방가이 카디널 피쉬 촬영하고 있는 제 모습입니다. 고프로 영상이며 끝 부분에는 실제 캐논 7D로 촬영한 카디널 피쉬 장면도 넣었습니다. 사실 고프로가 녹화되고 있는 줄 모르고 그냥 놔두는 바람에 100분 내내 똑같은 장면이 녹화되었더군요.

Lembeh Green Hairy Shrimp – Video

One of the highlight from my recent trip to Lembeh, Indonesia, was recently discovered Green Hairy Shrimp (not sure it’s a variation Phycocaris sp. or completely new species).
These are no bigger then a grain of rice (some of them are more smaller)!
This is a short video I put together from footage of different colour variations of hairy shrimp.

지난 인도네시아, 렘베 촬영 기간중 가장 흥미로웠던 것중 하나는 바로 Hairy Shrimp (Phycocaris sp.) 입니다. 그 중에서도 가장 최근에 발견된 초록색의 헤어리 쉬림프 (Green Hairy Shrimp)는 아
직까지 정확한 학명이 없는 새로운 종일 가능성이 많습니다. 이 새우들은 크기가 쌀 한톨 또는 그것보다 더 작으며 이름 그대로 긴 털과 독특한 모양의 눈의 특징을 가지고 있습니다.

오늘 (2월 23일)부터 인도네시아 암본, 렘베, 마나도로 약 2주간 촬영갑니다. 암본은 작년 5월에 이어 두번째인데 이번엔 underwater.kr의 촬영가들과 함께하는 여행이라 더욱 의미가 있습니다.

매번 가방 갯수는 늘어나는 듯 하는데 공간은 여전히 부족합니다. 최근엔 항공사들의 빡빡한 규정때문에 짐 싸는 것에 신경을 쓰지 않을 수 없네요. 불필요한 것은 빼고 꼭 필요한 것만 챙긴다는 것이 촬영가들에게는 그다지 쉬운 일은 아닌듯 합니다(꼭 현장에서 왜 그걸 가지오지 않았을까 후회하는 일이 생기곤 하니까요).

암본 일정후에 다시 찾을 렘베와 마나도에서는 그동한 생각해 두었던 몇가지 아이디어를 차분하게 시도해 보려고 하고 있습니다. 다녀와서 다시 뵙지요. :)
